Mission & Bylaws

Friends of the Williamsbridge Oval is comprised of park users (from near and far) who care about and delight in the Nowood's Williamsbridge Oval Park.  Membership is open to anyone who wants to preserve and improve the Williamsbridge Oval Park as a vital community resource for the thousands of adults, children, and elderly who enjoy the park each week.

Friends of the Williamsbridge Oval is committed to maintaining and supporting our park. As park-users who love the Oval, we work together with community residents, Community Board 7, the NYC Department of Parks and Recreation, our elected officials, and other neighborhood organizations to identify needs in the park, monitor repairs and renovations, advocate for city resources, and organize activities.
